Composition:
This is a state-based committee who chair represents
District IX on the NATA Education Council Educational
Multimedia Committee.
Purpose:
Provide
the membership with the most contemporary information in
educational multimedia as it relates to athletic training.
Duties:
-
Collect relevant materials from, and disseminate them to,
all groups with an interest in athletic training education
as pertaining to educational multimedia.
-
Facilitate consistent dialogue with any SEATA groups
interested in athletic training education as pertaining to
educational multimedia.
-
Serve as a resource to groups interested in athletic
training education as pertaining to educational multimedia.
-
Serve as a resource to district, state and local continuing
education program planners as pertaining to educational
multimedia.
-
Liaise closely with the Annual Symposium Oversight Committee
on the planning of the Annual SEATA Clinical Symposium &
Members Meeting as pertaining to educational multimedia.
-
Provide the membership with information about current
multimedia products (video, technology-based software)
relevant to athletic training, reviews multimedia products
available to professionals, presents technology-based
workshops, and coordinates the multimedia review room at the
convention and the annual video tape production contest.
-
Assistant in the procurement of educational multimedia
equipment for all SEATA symposia.
-
Advise the Executive Board regarding purchase and
expenditures related to educational multimedia.
